The refugees were offered temporary shelter at  Mota Ingil after being transferred from Dindi Primary School following the opening of the school term. Shimoh said this would be followed by relocation of over 9,000 refugees at Kapise in  Chikwawa to Neno . “The relocation  will help the refugees to be given  proper care because Luwani has a capacity of 500,000 and has structures with habitable conditions,” he said. “We have created shelter and some plots for farming would be allocated to those who are into farming.” He said the refugees were running from the war in the hope of a safer and better assistance. The refugees were moved to Luwani aboard two buses but out of the 94 registered 81 were willing to be moved to Luwani with UNHCR information officer saying some were waiting for their families who were still in Mozambique. According to  some refugees who spoke on conditions of anonymity the war is between the government soldiers and the Renamo party led by Alfonso Dhlakama.
